The GreenPlumber ™ program originated in Australia some years ago with the idea in mind that how things are done and the people that do them could be improved. The end result was 5000 Australian plumbers representing 3000 plumbing and mechanical companies were brought into the program and reeducated in their trades. The underlying purpose? To do everything possible to reduce and eliminate Global Climate change through efficiency and reduction of waste.

Fast forward to America year 2007, After some time in negotiations, The GreenPlumber ™ Program hits the shores of the United States. In coordination with the California state PHCC (Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors Association), the first of the Educational seminars began, and Roeber's showed up in force."This is the first of it's kind in the nation! We were the guinea pigs, whereas We were able to participate in feed back and discussion, quite heated at times, that would help to add polish to this new program". Commented John Roeber. |

Seeing the necessity in this type of program, Roeber's Inc. ™ elected to send the entire Plumbing and HVAC staff to go through this educational experience."We all got an enormous amount out of this" said Steve D'Amico, The cost of water in delivery and sanitation is beyond what most people, even plumbers are aware of. This puts a huge burden on our state and local government and infrastructure not to mention the families that depend on these services. To reduce, even marginally the energy consumed in these processes would make a substantial impact on the natural resources including water and electricity and thus make a positive impact on our effect on the climate change situation. There is no one single solution, but rather a series of solutions that must be implemented simultaneously across a wide array of sectors. The plumbing and HVAC industries are but only one.
